Throngs of Muscovites have braved chilly weather to enjoy an acrobatic stage spectacular by Chinese performers. The artists from Hangzhou of east China's Zhejiang Province held the show in Manege Square, adding a festive atmosphere to the city of Moscow.

The stage performance opened with a stunning acrobatic dance called "Splendid Dunhuang". For the following hour the show burst at the seams with colorful pieces from the art of contortion, and hoop diving, to plate spinning.

Audiences were enthralled by the impeccable dexterity and agility of the Chinese artists... many who have performed to rave reviews and won praise at both home and abroad.

Audience members said they became completely lost in a magical hallucination, during the show.

It was organized by a Russian charity, for orphans and the disabled.
