Chinese doctors assist Haiti victims

The hot weather, and possible spread of diseases, are posing a major threat to thousands of injured people. The team has started to sterilize victim accumulation points and hand out guidelines on disease prevention.
A Haitian victim said, "Your support is with us when help is most needed. Thank you, Chinese government. Thank you, all the Chinese people."
Despite their tight schedule for the mobile hospital, the team also go round the city to provide services to the injured.
An Official from Haitian Prime Minister's Office, said, "Thank you very much for the actions of the Chinese rescue and medical teams. Your medical treatments are very timely and effective."
The earthquake damaged two thirds of medical facilities in Port-au-Prince, and killed nearly 80 percent of the city's medical staff. So far, the Chinese team has treated more than seven hundred patients, and held more than one hundred surgeries.
