An explosion at a fireworks plant has killed three firefighters in central China's Hunan Province.

The blast occurred Tuesday morning in Taolin Town, Linxiang city, about two hours' drive from the provincial capital, Changsha. The initial accident caused no casualties, but a second blast buried four firefighters during the rescue work. Only one survived. The cause of the explosion is still being investigated.
