Temple fair is the traditional mass gathering that integrates religious worship, entertainment and commerce. It's being held in Zhengzhou, in central China's Henan province.

During the six-day event visitors can enjoy traditional performances from around the country, and join in various folk activities.

In northern Hebei province, folk dancing is held everyday during the Festival.

People in northwestern Qinghai province are also preparing for singing and dancing.

And in the eastern city of Qingdao, Shandong province red lanterns can be seen everywhere. 100-thousand have been decorated along the city's coast.
