Each of the volunteers will be given two T-shirts, two pants, a raincoat, and a hat. The choice of colors is white and green, reflecting the theme of harmony and creation. The two T-shirts carry the Expo logo consisting of the Chinese character for Heart, the letter V, and a dove of peace.

The map of China and the map of the world are also featured on both the front and back of the uniform. The fabric was particularly chosen for its ability to breathe freely and absorb sweat, which will come in handy for volunteers who are supposed to work in the hot months from May to October.
