The 1970's were reinvented with Kenzo flair. Marras achieved a fine mix of hippie chic style blending prints of and reflecting the most bourgeois tendencies. Flowery floor length dresses in light pinks, brown and maroon were not off the mark of the shades shown on the runway.

The style and cut seemed slightly off-the-mark with the rest of the seasons Parisian fare. Black and brown derbies, wide jackets and round sunglasses complete Antonio Marras' idea: Kenzo's symbol of liberty on a lively country set.

It was the answer to the working women's prayers at Kenzo's runway show, presented by designer Phoebe Philo.

Philo sent out an appealing collection of hooded wool coats and sheath dresses that were fashion-forward without being adolescent.

Tunic shirts were paired with cropped pants with the slightest bit of flare, skirts with hemlines that reached below-the-knee, were worn with blouses in creamy silk.

In a nod to the label's strong tradition of leather work, leather pockets and finishings accented many of the looks.
