20 days after the massive earthquake in Yushu, secondary geological disasters are still a potential threat in some remote villages. A possible landslide in Changgu has prompted an emergency evacuation.

Frequent rainfall is increasing the risks of landslides in this village already hard-hit by the quake. A resettlement point home to 32 families is at the foot of the hill, where rocks threaten to fall at any time.

Rescuers from the Qinghai Provincial armed police headquarters came to evacuate residents to safe areas. The priorities are setting up new tents and helping transport the villagers' belongings. Everyone was out by Tuesday morning.
