Hundreds of thousands of people continue to pour through the gates at the Shanghai World Expo. But, in a couple of days, organizers are preparing for a flood of more people. Lots of them. Children. A day with excellent activities just for the kids.

In two days time, it'll be Children's Day. Organizers of the Shanghai World Expo have just released a schedule of what's going to be happening around the expo park for the little ones.

Hypol and many other cartoon characters from a whole range of pavilions will showcase a "toy story" performance.

Children will be able to play games and take photos with any cartoon characters they like. There will also be fairy tales and puppet shows staged in many other pavilions.

Chen Chao, Head of Puxi D District, said, "We will afford a convenient passage of entry into the Car Pavilion and Grid Pavilion for each child aged from 4 to 13 and two family members. Children will get presents and souvenirs like cartoon badges and pasters in many pavilions."

Meanwhile, between June 1st and 30th, an activity called "baby strategy at the World Expo" will be held in the D District at the Puxi site. Winners will get prizes.

Chen Chao said, "The prize includes 10 cartoon passports, 10 suits with special souvenir badge, 15 subscribing tickets for Chinese Pavilion and 45 World Expo tickets."

Right now, organizers are making final preparations for Children's Day to make sure their expo experience is a happy and unforgettable one.
