Romantic restaurants, coffee houses, and bars are usually the favored locations for blind dates. But Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province is moving the hot scene for affairs of the heart to a most ordinary place -- buses.

This is a love bus. Decorated with dazzling ribbons, and painted with the words "All in Love," these coaches drive around Wuhan at three minute intervals. The 40 buses stop at eight major stations, where passengers hop on and get off.

A love bus passenger said, "I'm from Wuchang, but can still go to Hankou. This bus service enables me to meet someone living far away."

The mobile blind-date expresses increase the odds of success in coupling. If a participant doesn't find the perfect match on one bus, he or she can step off and choose another coach ... as the quest for love continues. Specially-made wrist bands that allow for free transfers are provided to participants.

Host of love bus said, "Now we have another couple! Here are some roses as gifts."

Organizers are exploiting every chance to increase the rate of matchmaking.

Organizer Wang Ping said, "We've designed "love maps" and "love cards" for further contact. People can leave messages on the cards. If a participant fails to find the right person, he or she can still get in touch with others."

Potential couples also enjoy the privilege of taking part in games where they are given additional chances to learn more about each other. The odds of successful pairings emerging from rides on these love buses are estimated to be twice as high as those of traditional blind dates.
