If you've started working up an appetite, here's the place to go. At Thailand's most original Japanese restaurant, the service is fast, friendly and extremely efficient. That's because two high-tech robots do most of the work. The owner recently paid nearly a million dollars to import the robots from Japan. The restaurant says they reduce the chance of food contamination, make fewer mistakes than humans, and of course, they never expect a tip.

This is the ultimate waiter - efficient, friendly, and never complains.

At Bangkok's Hajime Restaurant, you don't have to worry about the staff forgetting your order or your food getting cold.

Its two robot waiters, the first of their kind in Thailand, are fast, virtually never slip up, and you can guarantee service with a smile.

Wutthiphum Jurangkool, Automation Mngr., Hajime Restaurant, said, "Nearly every child, whether boy or girl, dreams of having their own robot or wants to have the power of a robot... to be superhuman. So we've made this the main attraction and that's why we have robots at our restaurant."

The restaurant says the robots help them trim costs, because they work faster and perform better than humans.
