Parts of southern and eastern China is still seeing extreme weather with heavy rain pounding Guangdong, Fujian and Anhui provinces.

In Heyuan city in Guangdong, dozens of houses are submerged under water.

Zeng Tianyuan, Heyuan resident, said, "The water started to come into my house last night. I measured the water level this morning. It was as high as one meter."

Residents have had to remove their belongings, for fear of their homes collapsing.

In Qinglian, another city in Guangdong, the rain triggered landslides, which have blocked a major highway out of the city. A coach with 20 passengers was passing by when the landslide occurred. No one was injured.

"It was quite dangerous. The mud almost reached the tyres." Police officer said.

Meanwhile in Fujian, the local flood control office recorded 270 millimeters of rainfall in one county in Fuzhou City. Some rivers in the area are 2 meters above danger level.

And in Anhui province, the rain is affecting the wheat harvest. The local government has stepped in to provide one hundred dryers and fans, to help farmers to dry their crop.
