The second Dali International Photography Exhibition was kicked off Sunday in the historic and scenic city of Dali in Southwest China's Yunnan Province.

A.D. Coleman, the internationally known photo critic, is assigned as general consultant for the event, which boasts a lavish presentation of over 20 exhibitions, featuring works by dozens of master photographers.

It's a feast of photographic art. And by admiring these framed extraordinary moments, people can use their imagination to travel through time and space.

Coleman was the first photo critic for the New York Times authoring 120 articles during his tenure. He started writing in 1967 and has contributed to numerous magazines, artist monographs and other publications worldwide. He was named one of the "Top 100 People in Photography" by American Photo Magazine.

This time he has presented seven exhibitions including those from American photographer Wynn Bullock and Harold Feinstein as well as Arno Rafael Minkkinen. The works are coherent with the event's theme, that is, human and nature.
