Cuban ballet dancer Carlos Acosta, a world-famous ballet star, hopes his London show will entrance more viewers with the charm of ballet.
[Interview]
A dancer with Britain's Royal Ballet since 1998, Acosta says he didn't think of becoming a dancer when he was a young boy from a poor family in Havana.

Some media label Acosta the "Cuban Billy Elliot," but the dancer doesn't think so. (Billy Elliot, the main character in British movie "Billy Elliot," is a boy from a mining community in northeast England who struggled to become a successful ballet dancer.)

Due to his popularity among female fans, Acosta has another nickname-"Cuban Sex Missile," which makes him burst into laughter.

Acosta's new show, "Premieres," shows at London's Coliseum Theatre from July 28 to August 7, 2010.
