China sends aid worth 60 mln yuan to Pakistan

China is sending its third batch of relief materials to help flood victims to Pakistan. And, the central government is offer a fourth batch of relief supplies.

So far, China has sent relief materials worth 60 million yuan to Pakistan. The first batch, worth 10 million yuan, was provided on August the 4th. The second batch, worth 30 million, was shipped between August 18th to the 20th. The third batch is worth 20 million yuan.

The shipments are urgently-needed daily necessities, including grain, cooking oil, flour, and medicine.

The Chinese government, says it will offer 60 million yuan MORE of relief supplies.

Pakistan is continuing to deal with the worst floods in the country's history. So far, more than 15-hundred people have died, and 20 million others are affected.

The Pakistani government thanked China for its great support during the flood, saying the friendship between the two countries has deepened in fighting the natural disaster.
