In Chengdu, capital of Southwestern Sichuan province, the global pambassador selection enters its final day. The candidates have been given a special task, learning how to look after baby pandas.

The task is a demanding one for the finalists but they're looking forward to it. Organized by Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the work aims to offer the candidates a closer look at pandas. The finalists have been briefed on artificial breeding, covering basic care and medical checks.

The work requires great skill and years of experience, which has made the candidates realize there is a still long way to go. However, they're not discouraged and express their confidence in taking on the job. The finalists hope that more and more people will protect the precious animals from extinction.
