An extremely rare pink diamond is due to go under the hammer next month. The diamond, just shy of 25 carats, went on display in Hong Kong this month, and will be exhibited worldwide before the auction in Switzerland on November 16th.

The diamond was last sold by legendary New York jeweler Harry Winston, and is described as a classic emerald cut with gently rounded corners. The gem, which is technically "eye clean", has a minor flaw that is probably due to wear.
