There are 25 days left until the start of the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. The Games' torch relay continued its journey through China. Its latest trip saw the symbolic flame travel from Zhuhai to Dongguan city in Guangdong province. Crowds gathered for the opening ceremony at the Humen Museum Square in Dongguan.

The flame arrived and Zhuhai city Secretary Liu Zhigeng handed the torch to Du Feng. Du plays forward on the national basketball team, and competed for China at the 2008 Olympic Basketball Tournament. He also took part in the national team's runner-up finish at the 2009 FIBA Asia Championship.

DU Feng from China National Basketball Team said, "It's a great honor for me be a torch carrier, especially when I ran the first leg of the Torch Relay in Dongguan. I would like to thank the Asian Games Committee and Government of Dongguan city to give me a such honorable opportunity."

79 other torch bearers took the flame on the rest of it's 8km journey. Dongguan city swimming gold medalist Zhang Guoying completed the run by lighting the city's cauldron. The next leg of the torch relay takes place in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
