As the path of the Typhoon Megi changes, the forcast landfall point has shifted from Hainan Province to coastal areas along Shantou City of Guangdong Province to Dongshan County of Fujian Province. To ensure the safety of the upcoming Asian Games, local authorities have taken serious preventative measures. The Asian Games Torch Relay will continue in Jieyang and Meizhou in Guangdong at the weekends.
