It's been more than five days since a group of mainland tourists went missing in Taiwan during a typhoon disaster. Their tour bus was swept down a steep mountain slope by a landslide on the island's east coast. The hope of finding any of the 20 missing people alive is fading. So far, searchers have only uncovered human remains. DNA testing is underway to identify them using samples provided by the families.

The driver of the bus, who was from Taiwan, was confirmed dead Tuesday.

His remains were found on Monday, and his identity was confirmed using fingerprints.

Search efforts have intensified at the location where the human remains were found.

However, heavy rain and another landslide have hampered rescue efforts.

A search and rescue diver said, "We are searching the debris under the water, but it's tough. The visibility is less than 66 centimeters."

Six family members of the missing group are at the site. They say the most important thing is to find their loved ones.
