After 30 days living with and looking after pandas in Chengdu, the six panda ambassadors or pambassadors selected from all over the world have said goodbye to their cuddly friends to work on raising awareness of the endangered creature's plight.

A graduation ceremony has been held for the pambassadors at the Chengdu Panda Research Base in Sichuan.

It brought an end to their challenging and one-off mission: nursing giant pandas.

They have learned to feed, train and do checkups on the pandas and also visited the panda valley to see them living in the wild.

Playing with the adorable creatures in the kindergarten was their favorite time.

But they're already missing their charges.

Ashley Robertson, American Pambassador said "Qiqi, I am gonna miss you so much. You really have changed my life."

The one month experience also raised their enthusiasm to protect endangered animals and nature.

Ali Shakorian, Swedish Pambassador said "My work just started. This one month was preparation and getting ready for the fight."

More than 60 thousand candidates from 52 countries and regions competed for the pambassador positions. The final winners are respectively from Sweden , US, France, the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Japan.
