Property prices in China rose 0.2 percent in October up from Sept. It's up 8.6 percent from October of last year - according to China Information News.

Real estate investment was up in October, rising 37 percent from a year earlier. New home prices rose 10.6 percent in October from a year earlier. Beijing took new steps on September 29th to curb property speculation, in response to a re-bound in housing prices.
