Premier Wen Jiabao has met the chief executives of Hong Kong and Macao in Beijing, who are in the capital to deliver their work reports to the State Council. During talks with Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang, Wen Jiabao said the Hong Kong SAR government's achievements have been remarkable in dealing with the global financial crisis as well as promoting economic progress.

Premier Wen also hoped the SAR government continues paying close attention to the international economic situation and work hard to boost Hong Kong's long-term prosperity. During talks with Macao Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On, Wen Jiabao said the central government fully acknowledges the Macao SAR government's work in administrative efficiency, governance building, and improving people's well-being this year.

Premier Wen said he hopes the Macao SAR government will work hard to strengthen government construction and promotes the diversified development of its economy. The Premier also stressed that while drafting the 12th Five-Year plan, the central government will take into full consideration of the two SAR governments' opinions to further promote their exchanges and cooperation with the mainland.
