Now, let's take a look at some of the details of the health care reforms, that make up the State Council's Work Report.

In the next round of health care reform, sticking to the essential medicine system is still the priority. It's planned to cover all essential community hospitals with the system by the end of 2011. Improved health care insurance and hospital service will be met in the future.

The report also aims to reform public hospitals and reduce charges at public clinics. Private hospitals will be provided with a better environment for their development. A cooperation framework among hospitals in major cities and rural areas will also be completed.

Meanwhile, the work report also points out major problems which have been met in the reform.

It suggests that the the implementation of the essential medicine system is still facing difficulties, due to the unbalanced reform progress in different regions and the medicine prices.

Other issues such as lack of support for hospitals in rural areas and the building of a public sanitation service system are also mentioned in the State Council's work report.
