Many US politicians, scholars and businessmen are hailing the achievement the two countries have reached during Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit to the US. They say they are confident about future bilateral ties between the two sides as their governments and people have been making efforts to improve relations.

During his weekly radio and online speech, US President Barack Obama said economic and trade agreements signed during Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit will increase the US's export volume, and create more employment opportunities.

Obama stresses that employment is one of the major economic problems in the US, and solving it relies on exploring international market.

Meanwhile, US Chamber of Commerce Vice President, Myron Brilliant says talks between the two countries are the best way of reducing differences and promoting consensus.

President of the US-China Business Council, John Frisbie expresses the hope that the meetings between the two leaders will lead to an open fair trade and investment environment.

During President Hu Jintao's visit to the US, the two sides inked more than 10 agreements, memoranda of understanding and letters of intent. Companies from the two countries also yielded rich cooperative results, covering trade, investment, technology, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, energy, environment, high-speed rail, and smart grids.
