Temperatures will rise in most parts of China during the next three days,--thank goodness--- but no rain or snow will fall to alleviate the drought, in the north.

Beijing has received no precipitation for 98 days, marking the longest rain-free stretch since 1951. North China's wheat-growing regions have received little rainfall since October. The National weather Center has urged local governments, to take immediate measures to handle the situation.
