Little impact from tightening up policies on overseas study

Each year it gets harder for Chinese students to go abroad and study at top academic institutions. Despite the difficulties faced in securing a place at university, many are still enthusiastic about planning and applying overseas. 

For more views on China's overseas study market, we turn to current affairs commentator, Dr Zhang Chuanjie.

Q1: Despite limitations being placed on international students applying overseas, thousands are not put off and still apply for courses in Australia or the United Kingdom. Why is that?

Q2: Just what does the cancellation of the Post Study Worker Visa mean to overseas students? Is it going to affect those already in the UK. And is a two-years work experience that important for people to drop their further education plans?
