Japan's National Police Agency says as of Tuesday , over 3 thousand people are confirmed dead and more than 6-thousand remain unaccounted for.

Around 500 thousand have been evacuated from 10 prefectures Over 76 thousand buildings have been damaged.

According to the Japanese foreign ministry, more than 100 countries and international organizations have offered assistance.
