Libya's state television says a new round of air-strikes has begun in the country. Anti-aircraft gunfire echoed around capital Tripoli for a third night on Monday. A US commander says international forces are extending the no-fly zone to Tripoli, hundreds of miles away from the recent fighting between government forces and the rebels. Meanwhile, the Libyan government has criticized a cruise missile attack on the residence of Colonel Gaddafi.

Musad Ibrahim, Spokesman of Libyan government said, "You saw last night how a rocket was aimed at the headquarter of the leader. This is not a military place. It doesn't have weapons. It doesn't supply weapons. It's an official building. Can you attack the president's residence, or the king's residence, anywhere in the world and say you are attacking military locations?"
