As one of the most anticipated events in China's film industry this year, the Beijing International Film Festival is launching its first project, Beijing Film Panorama, screening domestic and overseas films. And there's more to follow in this season of movies.

More than 160 movies from 42 countries and regions will be introduced to movie fans within 9 days in theatres and colleges. Many of the films are Award-Winning productions in Cannes, Berlin and Oscar Academy Awards, including last year's hits such as Black Swan and Coen Brothers' True Grit.

Yan Yujing, Director of "Beijing Film Panorama" of BJIFF, said, "Probably you can't see all the screening films at one time, but you can be part of the festival all across the city in twenty cinemas and theatres."
