The French military released footage on Thursday showing Libyan military vehicles and ground-to-air missile sites being bombed in the past week.

France increased the number of sorties flown over Libya over the past week to 41 from an average of about 30 since the start of the coalition's operations.

Meanwhile, US President Barack Obama has approved the use of armed Predator drones for the military mission. The remote-controlled drones can provide better vision of the battleground, and manage collateral damage better. They can also fly much longer periods of time than regular planes.
