A butterfly show, jointly held by Beijing Jingshan Park and Shunyi Butterfly Garden, kicked off in Jingshan Park on Wednesday. Beautiful butterflies from places such as Yunnan, Hainan and Sichuan can all be seen there.

The butterflies are literally all over the place, in the grass, on the flowers, and on the people, too. Those with cameras quickly took advantage of the photo op'.

Hu Qun, director of Beijing Shunyi Butterfly Garden, said, "These butterflies are cultured ones. They are not afraid of people at all. If you come here, you can wear bright and colored clothes, and they will fly close to you."

Meanwhile, the Jingshan Park is also holding an exhibition to introduce butterfly culture and scientific knowledge about butterflies. Children not only share a great experience with nature, but also learn something new.

At Chaoyang park, there's a different kind of natural scenery. A bikini contest is being held every Tuesday night through August the 16th. The contest is an important part of the 2011 Beijing Ocean Beach Carnival.

At the beach, organizers have promised a line-up of great performances. The location of the carnival includes a 20,000 square-meter beach and a 5,000 square-meter pool, providing visitors a great place to enjoy some summer fun.
