At least 10 people have died, during a weekend of bloody violence in the city of Kashgar, in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Three people, including a police officer, were killed in an explosion at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. And three others are reported to have been injured, and two suspects have been arrested.

On Saturday evening, at least seven people died when two men stabbed a truck driver, and then rammed the vehicle into pedestrians. Six people died at the scene, and 28 others were injured. One of the suspects was killed, while the other was apprehended. Two blasts also took place nearby the scene of the incident.
