London police have released surveillance footage of rioting and looting in the city. Residents have been called on to help identify the rioters, while rioters are being urged to turn themselves in to the police. The police noted, they'll thoroughly investigate the violence.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has visited the site of a building destroyed by fire in the third night of rioting in London. He stressed that London will strengthen security, and those responsible for the unrest will feel the full force of the law.

The violence first started in the low-income, multi-ethnic northern district of Tottenham. Reports say a man shot in a car during the unrest died in a hospital in London. Riots broke out after a peaceful protest over the police shooting of a suspect last week turned violent.
