A United Express plane carrying 44 passengers from Chicago skidded off the runway while landing in Ottawa in Canada.

Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene fearing the worst and crews sprayed foam on the fire. No one was injured in the incident but witnesses say the right wing of the plane was damaged. United Express flights are operated by various regional carriers working with United Continental Holdings.
