Veteran designer Ralph Lauren sent shimmery whites, pinks and greens down the runway on Thursday with an underlying theme of the roaring 20's.

Andre Leon Talley, Editor at Large Vogue Magazine, said, "Ralph Lauren's show was a highlight. There's the roaring 20's, all the soft feather capes and the beautiful colors were just marvelous. I thought that was quite special and just charming and wonderful."

The early looks down the runway featured a bright color palette of blues, greens and yellows. Lauren showcased his trademark tailoring with pantsuits, shirts and ties in various colors.

As the American designer moved into his evening looks, he topped off many of the dresses with feather boas and long silk scarves.

Shimmery white closed out the show with one spaghetti-strapped evening gown with sequins and feathers.

Although celebrities like Olivia Wilde were front and center, it was truly a family affair as Lauren greeted his wife with a kiss at the end of the show.

Earlier in the week, Fashion duo Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig used the mermaid as their muse for a spring collection that marked the Marchesa runway debut of the red-carpet favorite.
