Beijing art exhibition celebrates Xinhai Revolutionaries

The Revolution of 1911 is an historic turning of China in 1900s. It overturned feudal governance of Qing Dynasty and ended autocratic monarchy system which has lasted for thousand years in China, which hugely drove ideological emancipation of Chinese people, promoting awakening of Chinese people, initiating much-complete anti-imperialist and antifeudal national-democratic revolution, opening the gate of Chinese social development and reflecting the deep willing of Chinese to fight for ethnic independence and develop vigorously. It is a great milestone during Chinese people's revolution for changing own life and has profound and long-term great meaning during China's historical development course.

This exhibition consists of three parts "memory", "aspiration" and "wishes" through chapters. There are more than 300 works, the type of which covers Chinese traditional painting, calligraphy, oil painting, wood print, sculpture and watercolor. 



This exhibition adopts arts way to show important historical themes and especially express the public's spirit of patriotism during the course of driving historic revolution and important role of outstanding figures in historic revolution. It is excellent tradition in arts of China.
