The 2011 Top Marques was held between Friday and Sunday in Shanghai International Exhibition Center, China.

The Top Marques luxury exhibition, brings a large variety of international luxury brands to Shanghai every year along with worldwide premiere of various brands.

Among the luxury goods on display, the "supercar" is always the most prominent label for the Shanghai Top Marques with brands such as Ferrari, Land Rover and Mercedes Benz. During this year’s Top Marques, the debut of Pagani, the top sports car in Italy, has impressed visitors with its peculiar monstrous appearance: two antenna-like reflectors installed in the fighter cockpit-shaped car body with a beak-like front and four nozzles at the back, closely resembling missile launchers.

Jewelry is also an indispensable part of the exhibition, among which, the most impressive was an emerald necklace with 39 jade beads worth 80 million yuan.

“This is the first time for me to attend the Top Marques and I think it is really good. You know, almost all luxury brands are trying to enter the Chinese market,” said Liu Xiaoqing, famous Chinese film star.

Beside luxury goods, gilded artworks specially designed for a French castle worth around 7.2 million yuan and a laptop by French brand, Cottin, worth around 170,000 yuan, can also be found at the exhibition.
