The Chinese delegation is hailing the progress made at the Durban climate talks, saying the conference has produced a "progressive and balanced outcome." Xie Zhenhua, head of the delegation says the outcome is fully in accordance with the mandate of the Kyoto Protocol.

Xie Zhenhua, head of Chinese delegation said, "The conference made decisions on the arrangement of the second commitment period under the Kyoto Protocol, which is the most concerned issue of developing countries. Also, there is an important progress on the finance issue, the establishment of the Green Climate Fund. We hope to see the fund program carried out on time so that the developing countries are expected to receive their financial support next year."
