The fifth World Future Energy Summit will kick off in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates on Monday.
Built around the theme of Powering Sustainable Innovation, this year's World Future Energy Summit will stage both a high-level conference and exhibition, with companies from all over the world promoting their latest products and services.
Over 26,000 attendees including 3,000 delegates, 650 exhibiting companies and 20 national pavilions are participating in the summit, with China setting up its own national pavilion for the first time.
Premier Wen Jiabao will make an address at the summit's opening ceremony, where he is expected to outline China's policy on sticking to sustainable development.
