As the Spring Festival draws near, many Chinese are now on their way home. But the tough experience of buying tickets might be the story they share in common. However in Shanghai, there is a group of lucky workers who don't have to worry about the tickets issue, as their company has arranged everything for them.

Sometimes rainy weather is no bother especially when it is time to go home. The 109 coaches arranged by the Hudong-Zhonghua ship building corporation have been dispatched to transport over 4500 workers to their home towns, such as Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Shandong provinces.

With such considerate arrangements, many are thankful. Chen Haiyang, worker in Hudong-Zhonghua Co., said, "I feel very warm. It is not easy to buy tickets during the spring festival travel rush season. But we don't have to worry now, as our company has arranged everything for us. They really care about us, it is very considerate."

After working hard for a whole year, these migrant workers hope for a smooth ride ahead. Looking at the gifts they are bringing home, it is not difficult to imagine their longing for a family reunion.

According to the corporation, the total number of migrant workers has reached 9,300 - that's over half their entire staff. But with the growing number of workers in the ship building industry, labour turnover has become a challenge.

Shi Qiliang, deputy manager of Hudong-Zhonghua Co., said, "The biggest problem we face now is labour turnover, which we are not able to control. So we are now trying to maintain the current number of workers. Apart from increasing salaries, we are making efforts regarding the welfare of our staff."

Smiles on their faces and gratitude in their minds - With the help of their company, they now can see a warm spring festival ahead.

"Yeah! Heading for our family reunion!"
