The Ministry of Railways says 672 temporary trains have been added nationwide, including 16 on popular routes to benefit migrant workers from southwestern China.

Meanwhile, the Central Meteorological Observatory has predicted rainfall, as well as snowfall in southwestern and southern China to the end of January. Sections of a provincial road in Guizhou have been closed. Yellow alerts have been issued for frozen roads and more icy rain.
