Forget the off night that had NBA fans worldwide wondering if the Jeremy Lin story was too good to be true. There's still plenty to come. The Harvard sensation was back to his whirling ways on Sunday against the defending champions Dallas Mavericks.

With three minutes left in the first, J.R. Smith makes a 24-foot three point jumper, NY lead 24-18. Jump to the third quarter, Dirk Nowitzki makes a 25-foot three point jumper for a 4 point advantage. - Dallas up 57-53

With less than three minutes remaining, Jeremy Lin makes a driving layup to narrow the gap to 9. - Dallas in front, 73-64

In the dying seconds, third quarter, Jeremy Lin's slam dunk reduces the deficit to three. - Dallas up 75-72

In the 4th quarter, Steve Novak's three pointer puts the Knicks up 87-81. Jeremy Lin adds another three point jumper and NY is up by nine, 90-81

J.R. Smith adds a two-point layup to finish the game, the Knicks seal it 104-97. Lin finishes with 28 points and 14 assists.

Jeremy Lin said, "Yeah I think in the moment I don't really think too much about it but looking back it's like, I was watching them win the championship last year and that's obviously where this team wants to go and so we're just very...this is helpful to us, not just to me but to us just to be able to see where our team can go and what we can become and I think that's the biggest take away from tonight."
