After the three-day tombsweeping holiday, many Chinese airlines, including China Southern Airlines, Air China and Hainan Airlines, are set to raise jet fuel surcharges starting from April 5th.

The fuel surcharge for each domestic flight will be adjusted from 70 RMB to 80 RMB for routes of 800 kilometres or less, and from 140 RMB to 150 RMB for routes over 800 kilometres.

Meanwhile, several local and international airlines have also announced an increase in fuel surcharges for Chinese Mainland to Hong Kong routes. They'll go up from 70 RMB to 80 RMB.
