Londoners and visitors alike are partying on despite cold, rainy weather in the British capital. Tens of thousands of people have thronged to Europe's largest street carnival - the Notting Hill festival. It's the final day of the annual event, but the celebration is still hot! Scantily clad dancers joined the crowds in the colourful parades down west London streets.
Some performers say they have been waiting the whole year just for this. The 2-day festival was expected to draw over 500,000 revellers. Began as a small party in the late 1950s, the Notting Hill Carnival is now one of the most prominent multi-cultural events in the British capital.
