UK's Reading Festival drew to a close on Sunday. Tens of thousands turned out to watch "The Cure", "Green Day", "Kasabian", and US rockers "The Foo Fighters" who rounded the fun off in a rousing fashion. Here come some of the most memorable moments.

"The Cure" were the first to headline the three-day event on Friday. Fans packed in to watch the veteran rockers belt out hits like "Friday I'm in Love".

On Saturday Reading crowds were treated to a surprise show by "Green Day". The legendary pop-punkers played a career-spanning set including "American Idiot" and their new track "Stay the Night".

The second day was ended by Brit rockers "Kasabian", with a set full of hits and some crowd-pleasing covers.

"The Foo Fighters" took to the stage to round off the three-day musical festivities.

The two-and-a-half hour set also wrapped the band's "Wasting Light" tour, playing a total of 26 tracks.

The line up was also bursting with stars like Florence and the Machine, the Shins, and the Kaiser Chiefs. The Reading and Leeds festivals expected to attract around 170,000 people.
