With National Day approaching, a huge flower basket has been displayed in Beijing's Tian'anmen Square to mark the festival.

The basket is called "Blessing our Motherland." At 13 meters high, it is the biggest ever on the square. Over 90 percent of the flowers in the basket are artificial. Some of them are nearly two meters in diameter, and they took over 30 people’s efforts and a hoist to arrange.

The basket itself is made in traditional craft, using wood and clay as the main materials. The huge flower basket has attracted many passer-bys and picture-takers.
