China's Ministry of National Defense has issued a statement, noting that 7 Chinese naval ships have conducted legitimate regular practice in the waters near the Diaoyu islands.

The Ministry accused Japanese military jets of infringing on China's sovereignty by flying around the concerned waters. China is keeping a close eye on Japan's moves and has demanded the country stop any actions that may worsen the situation.
