Microsoft officially started a series of global celebrations for the launch of its Windows 8 system on Tuesday in Shanghai, making the Chinese economic center the world's first showcase for the IT giant's new software product. Microsoft will launch Windows 8 and the Surface tablet computer in China on Friday.
