Delegates of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which opens Thursday, are arriving in Beijing.

Delegates of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) from Tibet Autonomous Region arrive in Beijing, capital of China, on Nov. 5, 2012. The 18th CPC National Congress will be opened in Beijing on Nov. 8.

The upcoming congress will play a significant role in mapping a blueprint for China's economic and social development for the next five years. Delegates say they are delighted to attend the CPC congress to play their part in building a well-off society and promoting reform and opening-up to the outside world.
