The 5th stop of the Chinese Dragon Boat series finished in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province on Monday. The team from Guangdong Shunde showed their strength claiming three of the four titles.

Guangdong Shunde haven't lost a single title in the past two years. Guangdong showed their strength, claiming the 200m sprint title on Monday. But with the improvement of other teams, their leading advantage has been reduced.

In the following 500m final, three other teams took it to Guangdong, it was the team from Guizhou Majiang crossing the line first, breaking Guangdong's two year dominance.//In the women's event, Guangdong Jiujiang claimed the 200 and 500 metre sprint titles. The teams now move on to Foshan in Guangdong province preparing for the year's finale.
